Coach Donovan began competitive swimming at Abington Senior High School at the age of 15. He swam all 4 years for the Abington High School team and briefly swam for Dolphins and Crestmont Clippers during 2014-2015. During his time at Temple University, Donovan swam all four years for the club swim team where he qualified for the East Coast Collegiate (ECC) Club National Championship in Atlanta. Donovan graduated from Temple University in 2019 with a degree in Criminal Justice and currently attends the Community College of Philadelphia’s ABA Paralegal Program.

Additionally, Donovan is currently employed as a Sergeant in the Military Police Corps of the United States Army Reserve after enlisting in 2016. Donovan recently returned from his deployment tour of Operation Enduring Freedom from 2021-2022.
