Coach Artem began competitive swimming at Dolphins at the age of 11 and later joined the DCAA coaching staff as a junior coach at 16. He swam for Dolphins through his senior year of high school where he swam all 4 years at Abington Senior High School. As team captain at Abington, Artem earned team MVP his senior year. He also received the Dolphin's Patrick McManus Memorial Award for Teamwork and Dedication. Artem swam for the Crestmont Clippers in the summer where he currently holds the team record for Unlimited 50 breaststroke. Artem continued his swimming career at York College of Pennsylvania where he swam all 4 years and earned The Golden Spartan Award. At the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) championship meet, he consistently finaled in the 50 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, and 200 breaststroke events. Artem graduated from York College in the spring of 2018 with a degree in Secondary Math Education and is currently a math teacher at Abington Junior High School.
